Hawthorne Christmas Parade and Festival
The Hawthorne Christmas Parade and Festival will be presented by the Hawthorne Area Community Foundation. It's a holiday experience that you won’t want to miss. The festival will be on Saturday, December the 2nd and starts early in the day and continues to the grand finale with the Christmas Parade and pictures with Santa at the Alachua County Hawthorne Branch Library. (bring your camera) The holiday spirit is in full swing all day with craft vendors, many great food choices and entertainment. So mark your calendar, get ready to shop for some unique craft gifts, enjoy our entertainment and experience the small town fellowship.

Hawthorne Community Fun Bowl
April 29, 2023 - The most fun bowling event of the year!!! Be sure to register early as space is limited! You don't have to bowl to get in on the fun! Stop by and purchase door prize tickets for a chance to win AWESOME prizes! The event proceeds go toward college scholarships for local Hawthorne Middle/High School students!
The price is $ 25.00 (price includes sales tax) per Bowler. The price will include Bowling (10:00 am to 12:30 pm), Bowling shoe rental, a Community Bowl T-shirt, a Goody Bag, and one Door Prize Ticket. Additional Door Prize Tickets are available for purchase at the event. Last year, we gave out over 200 Door Prizes.
Any lane with 5 or 6 bowlers will receive a PARTY PACK coupon which will get their lane an appetizer, a pitcher of soda and extra door prize tickets!
